The Company was originally incorporated on 18th August, 1980 as “Tilak Finance Limited” with the object of finance and investment-related activities.
The name of the Company was changed from “Tilak Finance Limited” to “Out Of City Travel Solutions Limited” on 28th December 2011, with the object of operating as travel agents and tour operators for travel in India or elsewhere and providing services related to tours and travel.
On 28th March, 2014, the name of the Company was changed from “M/s. Out of City Travel Solutions Limited” to “M/s. Tilak Finance Limited”, with the object of providing loans and advances to persons, firms and bodies corporate, receiving money on deposit or loan, carrying on business as financiers and factors, and undertaking financial operations, subject to applicable law. The Company shall not carry on banking business as defined in the Banking Regulation Act, 1947.
The name of the Company was subsequently changed to “Tilak Ventures Limited” with effect from 13th October 2015.

Activities relating to the manufacture, trading, agency, supply, import and export of fabrics, yarns and textiles, including suiting, shirting, dress materials and industrial fabrics, together with textured, twisted, sized, blended and spun yarns, viscose filament yarn and other synthetic and cotton yarns.
Investment and Financing Activities
Activities relating to investment and deployment of Company funds, including acquiring, subscribing to, holding, transferring, selling or otherwise dealing in shares, stocks, bonds, obligations, securities, land, buildings and other properties. The stated objects also include advancing money to persons, firms and bodies corporate and undertaking financing-related activities, subject to applicable law.
